According to "The Complete German Commission E Monographs," this herb is contraindicated during lactation and pregnancy. The occurrence of arbutrin/hydroquinone in the breast milk has not been researched. The drug, therefore, should not be administered during lactation. Also known as Bearberry, Arberry, Bearsgrape, Kinnickinick, Mealberry, Mountain Box, Mountain Cranberry, Sandberry.
